Your Show's Title
Your big idea, told in one sentence that makes people want to watch.
"Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." Habakkuk 2:2
The empty land across from The Mall at Stonecrest becomes a district of light: original game shows, a late-night studio, a comedy club, a restaurant row, and a grand outdoor amphitheater. Built by Stonecrest, filled by our churches and creators, and owned by our community.
The land
The lots directly in front of The Mall at Stonecrest along I-20 have sat empty for decades. Hotels went up with nothing to visit. Motor Mile grew up around a struggling mall. Families drive past every day on their way to spend their money somewhere else.
Zion's Black Wall Street turns that empty land into a destination. It honors the legacy of Tulsa's Greenwood District, burned in 1921, and declares Stonecrest the city that rebuilds it.
The district
Watch a taping, eat dinner, catch a late show, and stay for a concert, all without moving the car.
Two soundstages with live studio audiences of 300 to 500 each. Families come to watch, and families come to compete.
A broadcast-ready studio with a 250-seat audience and a band stage for a nightly talk and variety show. It doubles as a home for church media, interviews and podcasts.
A 300-seat room for clean, family-friendly comedy, open mics and touring headliners. A date night you can tell your pastor about.
Six to ten restaurants, with first priority to Black-owned and Stonecrest-owned operators. Lunch for the Mall crowd, dinner before the show.
A fountain, an outdoor screen showing live tapings, and a stage for pop-up performances and seasonal markets. Free for everyone, every day.
A huge open-air amphitheater at the rear of the complex. Concerts, gospel festivals, citywide worship nights, orchestra, comedy specials and the biggest live tapings.
For the kids
This is a place young people will count the days to visit. Sit in the audience, get picked from the crowd, or bring your team and your talent to the stage.
Kids and teens compete with their families, youth groups and schools on shows made right here.
Sing, rap, dance, act or pitch your business on Next Up Zion, with mentors and prizes for the winners.
Internships behind the cameras: lighting, sound, editing, hosting and producing real shows.
Fountain shows, outdoor movies on the big screen and youth concerts at the amphitheater.

Who owns it
We create our own wealth and lead by example. Ownership is shared so every partner reaps from the harvest, and the structure stays on firm legal ground.
Through a public-private partnership, the city owns the land, studios, plaza and amphitheater, and earns from rent, bookings, parking and visitor spending for every resident.
Church partners and Kingdom producers create the shows, keep the rights and share in the revenue from streaming, sponsorships and merchandise.
Black-owned and Stonecrest-owned restaurants and operators get first priority for leases, so the jobs and profits stay in our neighborhoods.
The path
Bring the plan to every pastor, church and family in DeKalb County and build the coalition.
Pilot the first original shows in partner churches and stream them online, proving the audience before a single wall goes up.
Commission a market and financing study for the land across from the Mall.
Select a development partner, bring church partners to the table, secure the land and win council approval.
Open the plaza and restaurants first, then the studios and comedy club, with the Grand Amphitheater as the capstone.
An invitation to the pastors of DeKalb County
This vision belongs to the Church. We are inviting every pastor and congregation in DeKalb County to help shape it, partner in it and share in what it produces for our community.
